Installing SyncPocket App
Everything you need to get SyncPocket App running on your Mac.
Not available for public download. SyncPocket App is in early access. This page describes how installing it works.
System requirements
- macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later
- Apple Silicon or Intel Mac
- About 20 MB of free disk space
Installing
- Download SyncPocket App from syncpocket.app.
- Open the downloaded file and drag SyncPocket App into your Applications folder.
- Open SyncPocket App from Applications (or Spotlight). The first time, macOS may ask you to confirm you want to open an app downloaded from the internet — click Open.
- A 🧠 icon appears in your menu bar. That's SyncPocket App, running quietly in the background.
First launch
SyncPocket App doesn't open a window or appear in your Dock — it lives entirely in the menu bar. To see it in action:
- Click the 🧠 icon in the menu bar, or
- Press ⌘⇧V anywhere to open the recall panel
Copy a few things — some text, a link, an image — then press ⌘⇧V again to see them appear.
Granting permissions
SyncPocket App works right away, but one optional permission unlocks direct pasting into other apps. See Permissions for the full walkthrough.
Launch at login
Want SyncPocket App running as soon as you log in? Open the menu bar icon → Settings and turn on Launch at login.
Uninstalling SyncPocket App
- Click the 🧠 menu bar icon and choose Quit.
- Drag SyncPocket App from your Applications folder to the Trash.
- If you'd also like to remove your saved history, delete this folder:
~/Library/Application Support/MemoryApp.
